The third edition of the Bharat 2.0 Conclave, Shakti Edition, brought more than 200 leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs and changemakers to Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai, placing women’s leadership within conversations around India’s growth and transformation.
Organised by Business Viewpoint Magazine and The Enterprise World, the conclave featured discussions and sessions focused on leadership, identity, entrepreneurship and the role of women in shaping Bharat’s next chapter.
The programme opened with the interactive “Stand Up If…” activity, which encouraged participants to recognise the women who had mentored, supported or inspired them. The activity was followed by the Shakti Pledge and a collective tricolour flag-waving ceremony.
Dhruv Apte delivered the opening keynote, “Who Writes the Next Chapter? The Power of Storytelling, Shakti & Leadership in a Changing Bharat,” followed by Rashoo Sachdeva’s keynote, “Identity, Leadership & Beyond.”
Leadership, entrepreneurship and a conversation with Dr. Kiran Bedi
The Bharat 2.0 conclave’s leadership discussions included a panel on the transition from organisational leadership to entrepreneurship, featuring Roopa Lobo, Dr. Mandeep Maitra, Dr. (Hon.) Ridhima Dua, Rishita Malhotra and Swati Satapathy, with Dhruv Apte as moderator.
The event also featured the felicitation of Dr. Kiran Bedi, followed by a candid conversation with Dr. Ankita Singh, Founder of the HR Association of India. The discussion examined Bedi’s leadership journey, experiences, choices and lessons, while also exploring what Shakti means through the lens of her personal leadership story.
The Leadership Excellence Awards formed another major part of the Bharat 2.0 conclave, recognising 69 women leaders across fields including technology, AI, healthcare, education, FinTech, engineering, sustainability, HR, entrepreneurship, marketing, logistics, law and social impact.
