Electronics deals drive early momentum
Amazon India opened its Black Friday Sale to the public on Nov. 28 after giving Prime members early access starting Nov. 20. The company is offering up to 75% off on electronics, fashion, and home essentials through Dec. 1. Key deals include reduced pricing on OnePlus smartphones, laptops with EMI options, and discounts on TVs and appliances. Partner banks like ICICI are providing an extra 10% off on select purchases.
Flipkart launched itsBlack Friday Sale earlier, running Nov. 23–28. The platform focused on smartphones, laptops, TVs, and appliances with discounts up to 80%. Bank offers from Axis and HDFC add 10% instant discounts, while exchange bonuses bring the iPhone 16 under Rs 40,000 for eligible buyers. Entry-level laptop deals from Acer and other brands remain a core highlight.
Croma began its Black Friday Sale on Nov. 22 and will continue through Nov. 30 with up to 60% off electronics. The retailer priced the MacBook Air M4 at Rs 55,911 and listed iPhones from Rs 45,900. Its appliance and TV categories feature no-cost EMI for up to 24 months, and HDFC and ICICI are offering 10% cashback. Gaming laptops dropping below Rs 40,000 have drawn strong attention.
Reliance Digital aligned its Black Friday sale with the main weekend from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1. The retailer is offering up to Rs 13,000 off on iPhones, zero-downpayment EMI options, and 10% additional savings through BOBCARD. Its integration with JioMart adds grocery bundles to the broader mix of electronics deals.
Fashion platforms target seasonal demand
Ajio’s Black Friday sale runs Nov. 27–Dec. 1 and extends to Cyber Monday on Dec. 2. The platform is offering 70–90% off on fashion from more than five thousand brands including Adidas and Levi’s. Apparel starts at Rs 199, with an extra 10% available through app-exclusive coupons. Luxury labels feature up to 50% off, and free shipping applies to orders above Rs 999.
Myntra opened its event on Nov. 26, offering 50–80% off fashion and beauty through Nov. 30. Key promotions include sneakers at 60% off, ethnic wear under Rs 999, and buy-one-get-one deals on beauty kits. Shoppers using SBI cards receive an additional 10–15% discount. Early bird access provides broader stock selection for premium labels.
H&M India scheduled its Black Friday Sale for Nov. 28 with extended days following the main event. The brand is offering up to 70% off across categories in stores and online. Seasonal apparel starts at Rs 499, and larger orders qualify for free delivery. The company is also providing additional coupons to loyalty members as part of its November promotions.
Zara launched its Black Friday Sale from Nov. 26–29 with 40% off on selected items. The retailer is highlighting winter collections and basics under its “Special Prices” banner. Items under Rs 2000 dominate online listings, while some in-store exclusives are available to manage peak shopping traffic.
Beauty and multi-category retailers join the rush
Nykaa’s Pink Friday Sale, positioned as India’s Black Friday equivalent for beauty, runs Nov. 21–30 starting at 4 p.m. The platform is offering up to 80% off products from more than two thousand brands. Makeup kits are available at 50% off, and skincare bundles feature similar reductions. Extra savings come from app offers and bank deals from Kotak, especially on high-end fragrances and luxury products.
Vijay Sales began its Black Friday Sale on Nov. 20 and will continue through Cyber Monday. The retailer is offering up to 70% off on electronics, including smartphones, ACs, and laptops. Instant cashback up to Rs 5000 is available on select cards, while multi-buy appliance deals and TV exchange options expand savings for households upgrading their devices.
