Saudi associate secures ₹2,000 crore ARAMCO contract

East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (EPIC), a listed Saudi Arabian company and associate of Welspun Corp, signed a contract with Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Aramco) for manufacturing and supplying steel pipes.

The contract is valued at more than SAR 771 million, or approximately ₹2,000 crore, including value-added tax. It has a duration of 6 months, with the financial impact expected to be reflected from Q4 FY2026 27 through Q1 FY2027 28.

EPIC manufactures Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes and operates integrated manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia. The new contract adds to Welspun Corp’s business exposure in the Saudi energy infrastructure market.

The development comes shortly after Welspun Corp secured its largest single order in August 2026. The order, valued at approximately $1.8 billion, or nearly ₹17,200 crore, covers the supply of pipes from the company’s manufacturing facility in the United States.

That order is scheduled for execution between FY2027 28 and FY2028 29. Together, the recent contracts add significant order visibility across the company’s operations in Saudi Arabia and the United States.
