The Wipro Olam Deal includes the $375 million acquisition of Singapore-based Mindsprint as part of an eight-year, AI-led digital transformation agreement worth over $1 billion.

Wipro Secures Eight-Year AI Transformation Contract With Olam

Wipro said the agreement with Olam Group focuses on delivering an end-to-end digital transformation using artificial intelligence and consulting-led services. The contract spans eight years and could exceed $1 billion in total value.

The company said it will deploy its AI-powered service suite to enhance Olam’s core operations and improve efficiency across its global business. The partnership aims to strengthen Olam’s competitive position in the food and agri-business sector.

“This engagement reflects our commitment to delivering AI-driven transformation at scale,” Wipro said in a regulatory filing. The company added that it will leverage its industry expertise to support Olam’s long-term growth strategy.

Acquisition Strengthens Food And Agri-Business Capabilities

As part of the broader agreement, Wipro will acquire a 100% stake in Mindsprint, the IT services arm linked to Olam Group. The acquisition is valued at approximately $375 million in an all-cash deal.

Mindsprint provides technology services across enterprise applications, data analytics, and digital platforms. The company has a workforce of more than 3,200 employees across India, Singapore, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East.

Wipro said Mindsprint’s strong presence in the food and agri-business industry, along with its supply chain transformation capabilities, will complement its existing portfolio. The firm also brings proprietary, IP-driven solutions that are expected to enhance Wipro’s service offerings.

Mindsprint reported consolidated revenue of $135 million in calendar year 2025, up nearly 4% from $130 million in the previous year, according to company disclosures.

Deal Expected To Close By June Pending Approvals

The transaction is expected to be completed by June 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions, Wipro said. The acquisition comes as Indian IT firms increasingly pursue strategic deals to expand capabilities and secure large, long-term contracts.

Wipro Olam Deal, headquartered in Singapore, is a major player in the global food and agri-business sector with a market value exceeding $50 billion. It is majority owned by Temasek Holdings.

Industry analysts said the deal highlights a growing trend of combining acquisitions with large transformation contracts to accelerate digital adoption. “Such integrated deals help IT firms deepen client relationships while expanding domain expertise,” a market analyst said.

Wipro Olam Deal did not disclose additional financial details of the agreement but said the combined transaction is aligned with its strategy to invest in high-growth sectors and AI-led services.
